Investment & scope

Know what you are buying before the proposal.

Starting prices are qualification points, not mystery fees. Each engagement below explains who it is for, what is typically covered and what remains project-specific.

Focused engagements

Start with the smallest piece of work that can remove the uncertainty.

Indicative working windows assume timely access, feedback and approvals. Final timing is confirmed with the scope.

Digital diagnostic from $1.5K

Best for: when something is underperforming but the root cause is not yet clear.

  • Evidence and current-state review
  • Customer journey and conversion diagnosis
  • Measurement and tracking gap review
  • Prioritised action roadmap
  • Readout with recommended next steps

Indicative window: 5 to 7 business days.

Start with a Diagnostic
Website / conversion system from $5K

Best for: a new launch, repositioning, campaign system or website that is not converting clearly enough.

  • Messaging and conversion architecture
  • Responsive interface design
  • Front-end development
  • Forms and CTA journeys
  • Technical SEO foundations
  • Analytics and event tracking

Indicative window: commonly 4 to 8 weeks, depending on scope and dependencies.

Page count, full copy production, advanced integrations, multilingual requirements and ecommerce are scoped before the quote.

Scope a Website

Ongoing & complex work

When the requirement is bigger than one deliverable.

Use an ongoing or leadership model when optimisation, coordination and commercial ownership need to continue after the first launch.

Fractional digital leadership custom

Best for: a business that has internal people or suppliers but needs senior digital leadership without a full-time hire.

  • Commercial roadmap and priority setting
  • Internal team and agency direction
  • Supplier and platform decision support
  • Measurement governance
  • Executive-level progress and risk visibility

Cadence, decision rights and time commitment are defined around the operating model.

Discuss Leadership Support
Multi-market transformation proposal

Best for: multi-stage programmes spanning markets, websites, acquisition, CRM, automation or connected systems.

  • Phased discovery and prioritisation
  • Market and journey architecture
  • Cross-functional implementation planning
  • Technology and integration coordination
  • Measurement and operating governance

Investment is phased so the business can approve the next level of commitment with better information.

Scope the Programme

How they differ

Four different buying decisions, not four versions of the same package.

The difference is the level of uncertainty being removed and the amount of execution or ownership required.

Diagnostic

Find what is wrong

Use it to identify the highest-priority commercial and digital gaps before spending on a larger fix.

Sprint

Decide what to do

Use it when the business needs a structured decision, roadmap and implementation direction.

Project

Build or fix the system

Use it when the required outcome is clear enough to move into design, development or implementation.

Partnership

Operate and improve it

Use it when performance needs recurring optimisation, coordination and senior commercial attention.

Before you approve a quote

The commercial basics should already be clear.

The proposal is where the exact commercial commitment is locked, but the buying logic should not be hidden until that point.

Scope

What you receive

The proposal lists the exact deliverables, milestones, dependencies, owners, review rounds and handover expectations for the engagement.

Separate costs

What is not automatically included

Media spend, software, data services, licences, travel and specialist third-party production are separate when relevant unless explicitly included.

Client inputs

What the business needs to provide

Accurate information, authorised access, timely decisions, approvals and permission to use supplied materials are required to keep delivery moving.

Commercial terms

How payment and ownership work

Deposits, payment timing, intellectual property, source files, licences and handover rights are confirmed in the accepted proposal or agreement.

What changes the fee

Scope is driven by complexity and responsibility, not by page count alone.

Starting numbers are there to qualify fit. Final investment follows the actual work, risk and level of ownership required.

Depth

Diagnosis versus implementation

A focused decision sprint is different from owning strategy, production, integration and post-launch optimisation.

Dependencies

Technology and third parties

CRM, data, APIs, paid media, specialist design, video, copy or development requirements can materially change scope.

Markets

Single-market versus multi-market

Localisation, channel testing, market-specific landing journeys and operational handoffs increase the work beyond a single-market setup.

Ownership

Project delivery versus ongoing leadership

Ongoing commercial ownership, supplier coordination and optimisation require a different engagement model from a fixed deliverable.

Pricing FAQ

Questions a buyer should not have to chase for an answer.

If your situation does not fit a standard entry point, the first conversation is used to identify the smallest sensible scope.

Are the published prices fixed quotes?

No. They are transparent starting points. Your proposal confirms the exact deliverables, timing, review rounds, responsibilities and fee before work starts.

Why not publish a maximum price or fixed package?

The same label can hide very different levels of complexity. A single landing system is not commercially equivalent to a multilingual website, a CRM integration or a multi-market programme. You receive the actual quote before committing.

Is advertising spend included in the $5K/month Growth Partnership?

No unless the proposal explicitly says otherwise. Media budget is normally separate, as are relevant software, data services, licences and specialist third-party production.

What is normally covered in the Website / Conversion System?

Typical scope can include messaging and conversion architecture, responsive interface design, front-end development, forms and CTA journeys, technical SEO foundations, analytics and event tracking. The final scope is confirmed before kickoff.

Does the website price include unlimited pages, copy or integrations?

No. Page count is not the pricing model. Full copy production, advanced integrations, multilingual requirements, ecommerce and other specialist needs are scoped according to the commercial journey and implementation effort.

How many revision rounds are included?

The review process and number of rounds are stated in the written proposal. This avoids vague unlimited-revision promises and makes responsibilities clear before production begins.

How do deposits and payment schedules work?

Payment timing, deposits and invoicing are defined for the specific engagement in the accepted proposal or agreement. You see those terms before the project begins.

Who owns the website, source files and accounts?

Ownership, licences, reusable components, source files and handover rights are defined per engagement. Client-owned accounts and third-party assets remain subject to the relevant account and provider terms.

What happens if the scope changes after kickoff?

Work outside the agreed scope can require a change request, revised fee or revised timing. The change should be agreed before additional work is treated as part of the project.

What if I do not know which engagement I need?

Start with the business problem, current constraints and desired outcome. If the right implementation is not yet clear, a smaller diagnostic can be used before a larger commitment.

Not sure which level fits?

Describe the business problem. I will recommend the smallest sensible engagement.
